His life has always been linked to music, technology and business, with a special\u00a0focus on electronica and the world of the DJ.\u00a0<\/span>In a career going back more than 25 years, he has combined the functions of\u00a0<\/span>music producer, sound engineer and DJ, working on interesting projects with\u00a0<\/span>artists as varied as David Guetta, Rinocerose, John Acquaviva,\u00a0<\/span>Trentemandller, to name but a few.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

He has worked with companies all over the\u00a0<\/span>world (Universal Music, EMI, Ministry of Sound, Armada, Tronic, Skint,\u00a0<\/span>Toolroom, Ultra, Kontor, F*** Me I\u2019m Famous, Spinnin, etc.), producing several\u00a0<\/span>chart-topping tracks.<\/span><\/p>

Evidence of his live experience comes from his well-known residences at leading\u00a0clubs, as well as countless sets as invited artist at the most important events all <\/span>round the world.<\/span><\/p>

One of his riskiest and most ambitious projects began in 2004 \u2013 Fresco Records and\u00a0Barzelona Publishing Group were founded to export his sound all over the world. In\u00a0<\/span>both cases he took charge of running the label, the catalogue, design and content,\u00a0<\/span>as well as providing a booking agency and artist management, achieving great\u00a0<\/span>success in a short time and positioning both Fresco Records and Julio Navas himself\u00a0<\/span>at the forefront of worldwide electronica.<\/span><\/p>

This extensive CV attracted important companies in the technology and music\u00a0sectors who wanted to make use of his knowledge and support, and he became an\u00a0<\/span>endorsed artist and collaborator with various brands, as well as offering his\u00a0<\/span>consultancy services to several of them, including Reactable Systems, Blanco y\u00a0<\/span>Negro Music and Mind The Gap.<\/span><\/p>

He has been working professionally in music since the mid-90s, when he founded\u00a0M.F. Station, a production company that has released several Spanish chart and\u00a0<\/span>dancefloor number ones, including \u201cBreak The Silence\u201d, by Status, and Ororo\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>\u201cZombie\u201d. After that, he travelled to London to continue training as a producer, but\u00a0<\/span>this adventure was cut short when he was signed as resident producer and\u00a0<\/span>technician by the Blanco y Negro, Vendetta and Insolent studios, where he spent 15\u00a0<\/span>years generating great successes and international hits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Together with Toni Bass, he\u00a0<\/span>set up Basstardo Recs, a label where artists can express themselves 100%, with no\u00a0<\/span>commercial filter, based on creating what many sectors of the industry considered to\u00a0<\/span>be high-class vinyl tracks. He currently combines his work as assistant producer for\u00a0<\/span>various DJs with teaching, commissions from publishing and record companies,\u00a0<\/span>sound production for live shows and the shared management of WeSoundMaster,\u00a0<\/span>together with Julio Navas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

He has worked under pseudonyms on countless projects\u00a0<\/span>providing the sounds of the times in highly varied styles: Jan &amp; Solo, Paul Droid,\u00a0<\/span>Lavelvet, Clublanders, Ororo and Status, among many others.<\/span><\/p>
